Basic Criteria for cars:

• Two motors running forward and backward
• LEDs indicating the direction of each motor
• Pulleys transferring motion from motor to wheels
• Bump Switch on front of vehicle turning on an indicator LED
• Terminal strip for connecting wires from remote
• Strain relief on control snake
• Vehicle moves in response to remote

Of course, you can add extras on top of the basics(meet the requirements first):

• A more interesting circuit in place of the LED for the bump switch
• possiblity of adding a wireless remote control
• Extra lighting
• other features?

• Switches secured neatly
• wiring connected securely and neatly
